Webinar Recording: Improve your 2020 studies
Did you miss the webinar?
I recorded the session, and created an online course
So many students are asking me how they can improve their studies next year. Whether you’re worried about the next level of studies; you simply want to improve; or 2019 didn’t go so well, I can help you.
I’m recorded a webinar on this topic:
what did I cover?
When the year starts, the time goes so quickly, that you don’t really have the time for smart thinking.
Study habits: Symptoms vs Underlying issues
Students ask me to help them with specific issues. Most often, these are symptoms of an underlying issue. We need to explore the underlying issue to understand what it is, where it comes from, and most importantly, how it affects you
Do you realise how much your mindset affects your studying?
When I talk to students, they don’t realise how much their mindset and personality affects their decisions, study habits, pretty much everything they do.
What is your mindset? How does it affect your studies?
Who’s calling the shots?
No matter how many lectures you attend… it’s what goes on in your head when you’re at your desk ALONE, that counts the most. What really goes on in there, and how do you take control? Are you REALLY studying the way you know you ‘should’? Or do you end up procrastinating, losing focus, revising your study plan endlessly, and not actually following your lecturer’s advice, no matter how much you may agree with them?
Your exams are practical. Do you know what this means for you?
Most students approach their exams as theory / memory assessments. Your exams are practical. What does this mean for your studying?
Here are some comments from the students during and after the session:
